Sparka fruit soda
Story & Illustration
Sparka is a self-composed carbonated fruit drink concept.
Its name is derived from the word sparkling and the Japanese character for fruit which is pronounced as 'ka'.
Sparka tells the tale of a blue scaled fish named Sak who collects sacred fruits that drop into the ocean hailed by a deity above. He collects them in his cave home below where they sit and glow like a pile of gold. In this manner, the flavors of the drinks are penned with a similar priceless tone.
The illustrations are hand-drawn with that of a storybook touch through the use of crayon-like textured brushes.
